If you're moving to Champaign-Urbana from a different part of the United States, or another country, it can be pretty daunting. Illinois isn't known for the best winter weather, or great scenery, but that doesn't mean there isn;t plenty to do still.
On University of Illinois Campus is where you'll find most of the action. Champaign-Urbana is known for some of the best food in the entire state, and many of these amazing restaurants are located on Campus. Campus is also home to the Fighting Illini Sports teams, so catching a football, basketball, baseball, hockey, or other sports game should definitely be on your list of things to do.
If you enjoy nature, Campus is home to a few different parks and arboretums that are a great place for a walk. It's nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of university life every now and then.
